Class Descriptions and Rates 

We have a full array of sexy Pole Series classes and Workshops designed to be fun, safe, and effective – catering to all fitness levels. 


POLE SERIES [back to top]

Our sensual Pole Series classes are the heart and soul of what we offer to you. These classes promote overall mind/body well-being and fitness by incorporating yoga, pilates, and strength training to build strength, flexibility, self confidence and overall fitness – all while focusing on sensuality. Classes teach an increasing progression of floor and pole dance tricks and transitions, and also incorporate the beautiful, sensual arts of lap dancing, chair dancing, strip tease, and shadow play. 

Classes are 90 minutes each.  There are five progressive stages, with each stage building strength and confidence for exciting new twists and turns ahead.  Advancement in classes is decided firstly by YOU, and also with the support of your instructor. You may decide to continue to advance in levels, or stay at a level where you feel comfortable. 

Series classes are about YOU…learning, discovering, challenging yourself in new ways, and taking a healthy, moving, life-changing journey.

Stage 1:  Pole Debutante.  Become unapologetically sexy and journey through the basics of pole dancing in this sexy, dynamic class. You will learn sensual floorwork, transitions, body language, strip tease, and pole swings and spins that will exhilerate and delight all while toning your body.  Emphasis will be placed on the upper body to give you the strength and confidence to move to the next level. You will get a full body work out complete with stretching and fat burning components. You will feel stronger, your body will begin to tone and tighten, and you will feel muscles you never knew you had.  Make your solid debut into the world of  pole dance fitness and loving and appreciating your body TODAY.

Footwear for the first class and all warm-up activities is barefoot, and we will then gradually move into heels (great styles and selection available for purchase in our studio). 

Stage 2:  Hooked On Pole.  Oh, how glorious! You’re hooked!  Now that you’ve learned some of the basics, we will start to put the moves into sequences and routines.  You will continue to develop transitions and floorwork, build on the power of subtle (and not-so-subtle!) body language, learn new pole moves, begin to ascend the pole (yes, climb!), and get a solid introduction into the entertaining, close proximity art of lap dancing and strip tease. 

Stage 3:  Mind, Body and Pole.   This stage is about really connecting mind, body and pole. We will continue to learn new pole spins, transitions, floor-work and flowing graceful sensual dance moves.  Expression through clothing choices will be encouraged. We will continue to build on elements of lap dancing and strip tease, and we will also bring out our beautiful shadow play screen. Our main focus will be on continuing to build strength and making your transitions smoother and more graceful so you look and feel like you move fluidly, naturally, and with POWER!  

Stage 4: Pole Acrobat.  This stage continues our learning progression to continue to free our minds and bodies and include moves that require ever-increasing upper and lower body strength. Pole work will include upside down and vertical maneuvers.  Stage 4 encourages you to develop your own freestyle choreography and utilze full floor space and multiple poles

Stage 5: Pole Diva.  Now that you have developed your upper and lower body strength and lost your inhibitions, it’s time to continue to build on Stage 4 and learn the moves that defy gravity and amaze!   This stage includes the advanced pole work, complex inverts, and suspensions that demonstrate flexibility, balance, strength, and creativity. Also ideal for experienced dancers considering or preparing for amateur competition or performance!

 

OTHER CLASSES/PRIVATE LESSONS [back to top]

All classes below are conducted for 50 minutes.  (Pole Series classes and Workshops described after this section are longer.)

Open Pole (Freestyle Practice Session). This is your private time to practice on your own. Must have taken at least Pole Dance Series Level 1. Minimal supervision. No inversions unless an instructor is there to supervise you. A great way to stay in shape and get intensive pole time! (special rate for this class: $10 per session)

Chair Dancing (MTV/Pussy Cat Dolls Style – Hot, Hot, Hot!).  Chair Dancing combines the art of sensual dance with core and overall body strength using a chair as one’s “dance partner” to create an eye-catching performance with a killer booty workout! You will learn poses, spins, chair pivots and more at a pace everyone can follow.  After a few classes, you may never look at your kitchen chair the same again!

Create-A-Class. We are pleased to offer the option of creating your own class! Gather a group of friends (generally 4 to 15 women is best for most types of classes) and call or e-mail us to schedule a single class, a set of session classes, or a workshop at our beautiful studio.  It’s THAT easy!  Have special requests? Private Lessons.  We are pleased to offer one on one private lessons (and semi-private lessons for you and a friend or two) from beginning to advanced levels. Learn a custom-designed lap or pole dance, perfect your routine or prepare for a performance, private lessons are ideal for ALL women of all experience levels and skills.  Please call to discuss your needs and corresponding rates.

 

WORKSHOPS [back to top]

Intro to Pole (Sign up Now!) (90 minutes) –  Get a fabulous introduction into what pole fitness has to offer. All ages, sizes and fitness levels welcome. Our students range ages 16 to 74, and come in every shape and size. Plus size welcome. We will introduce you to pole safety, sensual stretching and floor-work, developing your own signature walk around the pole, and generating a beautiful, exhilerating spin. INTRO AS PART OF A REGULARLY SCHEDULED CLASS: If you register for an INTRO class as part of our regular class schedule (under the CLASSES tab in our on-line scheduling system), you will join a regular class under the group curriculum for the week and learn the group skills being taught, which we will adjust accordingly for you as a beginner. This class is a great way to experience a regular class and see the amazing way in which our program has transformed our on-going students - both physically and as sensual creatures. No need to be intimidated by this group. They are warm and welcoming and will show you the way. INTRO WITH ALL BEGINNERS: If you register for an INTRO class scheduled for all new beginners (under the WORKSHOPS tab in our on-line scheduling system), then you will take your INTRO with a group of all new beginners and go through a series of 4 key foundational movements....also a great way to do your INTRO in a nice, specialized and sequenced format. We recommend EITHER format! In either case, our program is warm and inviting for you.

Lap Dancing (90 minutes) – Learn the art of entertaining as someone is seated in an arm chair, sofa, or loveseat. This is not chair dancing…it is the art of seductively approaching, navigating on and around, and entertaining a seated subject. Learn how to move sensually, build anticipation, and put a smile on both of your faces. Bring a man's button down shirt and high heels (we also have a beautiful selection of high heeled shoes in the studio for purchase).

Beautiful Woman Pole Class (90 minutes) – A Special Curriculum Designed for Plus Sized WomenBeauty and sensuality come in all shapes and sizes. Join our custom designed class for plus sized women. Easy on the joints, incredibly sexy. Our goal is to teach you beautiful, sensual floor, wall and pole movements that make you feel sexy and energize you. Come see what pole dance fitness has to offer...increased strength, body confidence, and attitude! No pre-requisites. Sizes 16+ encouraged. 90 minutes.

Couples Core Pole Ab Lab (90 minutes) – What a fun experience ... think of it as a healthy alternative date night! This class has been designed for MEN and WOMEN couples. No dancing in this class...just using the pole as a vertical fitness implement to create a fun, challenging ab and overall body work out both you and your partner will enjoy. Expect looks of 'how in the world am I going to do that!?", new body contortions, grimmaces and winces, and lots of laughs in a fun, safe and respectable environment. This is total strength training...every fitness level welcome from beginner to fully advanced (rock climbers will love this!). Rate reserves a pole for you and your partner for the full class. 75 minutes.

Advanced Pole Workshops (2 hours) – We offer the highest level of advanced pole instruction in Southern California. Want to learn Gemini, Superman, elbow hook holds, shoulder mounts, crazy climbing holds, handstands on the pole and more? TERMS AND CONDITIONS [back to top]

*Arrive on time. Doors will be closed after the first 5 minutes of class, and you will not be admitted.  This is for your safety (to prevent injuries from not being able to properly warm-up with the main class) and for respect to other students so we do not disrupt class.

*If you haven’t paid on-line, please pay or present class cards upon arrival (5 minutes prior to starting class time).

*Please do not wear hand/body lotions or oils the day you will be coming to any pole classes.

*Remove ALL rings and bracelets prior to any pole classes class.

Feeling Nervous?

Most students are nervous before their first class, don't worry you will all be in the same boat and you will very soon all be the best of friends. Classes are a safe, friendly space to learn and try new things.
