INTRO TO POLE WORKSHOP – ALL BEGINNER WORKSHOP (90 minutes) (under the WORKSHOPS tab of our scheduling system). Come experience what pole fitness has to offer. All ages, sizes and fitness levels. This workshop is filled with all beginners and we introduce you to pole safety, sensual stretching and floor-work, developing your own signature walk around the pole, and generating a beautiful, exhilerating spin. This single workshop provides the foundation to next join the regular on-going pole series classes. A great way to do your INTRO to Pole in a nice, specialized and sequenced format.
 
  • We also offer a INTRO to Pole Class – taking part in a regular class (under the CLASSES tab of our scheduling system).
FLOW & TRANSITIONS (90 minutes ) - This intensive workshop is all about flow and transitions. Learn from OC Pole Fitness Instructor and YouTube star, Rhiannan Nichole, to add sensuality, movement and flow to your repertoire. This workshop is all about adding personality and connectivity to your moves. Rhiannan will cover footwork, hand placement, turns, changing directions, and feeling the music in totally new ways -- learning to interact with your pole as your dance partner and using your space like never before. No pre-requisites required. Lots of movement in this workshop...expect a great cardio workout. Limited Class Size: You are GUARANTEED your own pole for the full workshop. Preferred pricing for Current Students (students who are enrolled in 2 month continuous packages or greater).

PIROUETTES & TURNS (90 minutes) - This workshop is all about creating seamless sequences of pirouettes and pivots to create flawless transitions between spins, poses, and inversions around the pole.  Learn how to generate a slow pirouette with as much control as a fast one and how to change speeds in the middle of a set.  Understand how some of the same principles learned in Spinning Strong & Swift also apply to creating beautiful pirouettes.  Gain comfort with constant motion and subsequent grip changes.  Practice weaving these graceful movements in and out of others to create a dramatic illusion of non-stop dancing.  Apply  the skills you learn in this 90 minute workshop to your regular pole series classes and watch your dancing skills blossom.  

SPINNING STRONG & SWIFT (90 minutes) - Setting the perfect conditions for a great spin every time is easy with the tips you’ll learn in this super informative workshop.  Learn how to create, control, increase, and decrease momentum as well as how to apply these principles to any spin, no matter the level of difficulty.  Examples of basic spins, in addition to lift, flying, opposition, and one handed spins will be covered with proper body position, grip, posture, take off, and landing.  This must-have learning experience is a 90 minute course that will send you back to the pole with a deeper understanding of how to create faster, higher, controlled spins sure to amp up your unique style of pole dance expression. 

LEARN A ROUTINE - Beginner, Intermediate & Advanced level routines (2 hours) - This class is perfect for learning how to combine many of the common intermediate and advanced movements we use in class (climbs to marionette, inversions, hooked leg holds, gemini, scorpio, and more). Recommended for students with a minimum of 6+ months experience. Learn a specific routine put to music. Limited space; your own pole GUARANTEED! Preferred pricing for continuous students (those enrolled in 6 month, or 12 month packages); all other students please select non-continuous student pricing.

ADVANCED POLE WORKSHOPS (2 hours) – We offer the highest level of advanced pole instruction in Southern California. Want to learn Gemini, Superman, elbow hook holds, shoulder mounts, genie, crazy climbing holds, handsprings, handstands on the pole and more? Other Workshops

LAP DANCE WORKSHOP (2 hours) – Learn the art of entertaining as someone is seated in an arm chair, sofa, or loveseat. This is not chair dancing…this is the art of seductively approaching, navigating on and around, and entertaining a seated subject. Learn how to move sensually, build anticipation, and put a smile on both of your faces. Bring a man's button down shirt and high heels (we also have a beautiful selection of high heeled shoes in the studio for purchase).
 
STRIPTEASE & SUDUCTION (90 minutes) - That's right ladies! Nature gave you the curves and we'll show you how to present them in a tasteful yet irresistible way. The sensual tips taught in this workshop are great when paired with the pole dancing and floor moves you may already know - or you can start with this amazing workshop all on its on. Perfect for use at home with no other prop than a human subject! You'll learn playful eye contact and facial expressions along with hand and body movements, body admiration techniques and poses. Class will be conducted with the assumption that you will have a seated subject at home and will include detailed instruction of a sensual striptease sure to cure any fear of awkwardness. Get ready to have tons of girl fun in a safe and friendly atmosphere while strengthening the confidence to reveal your most intimate, beautiful, and provocatively sexy side. Please bring an extra tank top or other shirt to layer over an existing top, a sexy pair of panties/g-string to layer over existing clothing, and high heels.

FLOOR ROUTINE (90 minutes) - Grab your knee pads and get ready to sweat as we take you through a provocative floor sequence you can take home and practice on the kitchen floor. In this challenging and sexy workshop, you’ll burn A TON of calories and learn how to apply all those skills you learned in the Floor Workshop to a series of choreographed movements with space to incorporate your own attitude. This class is sure to tone your abs, back, chest, and arms while increasing flexibility as you slither and crawl across the floor. As we will be incorporating our signature feline crawl with the rollovers, leg movements, and poses taught in the Sensual Pole Series curriculum and the basic Floor Workshop. Experience in these classes/workshops is helpful but not required. Open to all levels from beginner to experienced.
 
STRUT & SLITHER (90 minutes) - Between your spins, pirouettes, poses, and inversions, you need to walk.  Between slinking to the floor and getting back to your feet, you need to crawl and stand up.  And in every single step, flip, and swing around the pole you take, you must be showcasing your body in it’s best shape.   These small tricks in presenting the very best you, are the glue that produces a polished final dancing style to awe and inspire.  In this detail focused workshop, you will learn how to walk towards and around the pole, crawl like a lioness in pursuit, and keep constant poise in all motions to achieve ideal body lines.  This skill specific 90 minute course will leave you walking tall with better posture and feeling confident, understanding that your walk could be the sexiest thing you do around the pole.
 
INTRO TO YOGA (90 MINUTES) - After hearing, "I'm not flexible enough to do Yoga" or "Does it really help tone and strengthen my body?" by women of all fitness levels and ages, we have put together this INTRO to YOGA workshop to show you that 1) YOGA is a path toward improving flexibility, and you can start at any level or range of flexibility, and 2) YOGA will engage nearly every muscle in your body! By the end of this 90 minute instruction, you will learn that yoga is the perfect complement to any exercise program AND is substantial enough to provide not only body tone and increased flexibility on it's own, but will ALSO provide a solid emotional sanctuary. Our certified Yoga instructor will teach you about proper breathing and the benefits of perfecting and incorporating it into your yoga practice. Safe alignment of all the postures used at OC Pole Fitness as well as the props (straps and blocks) that will help you achieve your deepest stretches specific to your body will be covered in detail as well as the benefits of practicing on a regular schedule, though we're sure you will feel those for yourself! This class is perfect for beginners looking to learn more about yoga and it's benefits before beginning to practice this splendid form of exercise or for experienced practitioners looking to perfect their form.

INTRO TO AERIAL HOOP WORKSHOP (2 hours) – Also known as the Aerial Ring/Lyra, the Aerial Hoop is a steel hoop or ring suspended from the ceiling. This workshop teaches hoop safety and basic movements so that you may join regular on-going hoop classes. Acrobatic, strength, and flexibility maneuvers are performed statically, spinning or swinging. The female form is complimented by the sphere of the hoop, and you will strive to achieve graceful, flexible positions at varying heights. This is a beautiful, inspiring, graceful art that will strengthen and tone the entire body.
 
COUPLES CORE POLE AB LAB (90 minutes) – What a fun experience ... think of it as a healthy alternative date night! This workshop has been designed for MEN and WOMEN couples. No dancing in this class...just using the pole as a vertical fitness implement to create a fun, challenging ab and overall body work out both you and your partner will enjoy. Expect looks of 'how in the world am I going to do that!?", new body contortions, grimmaces and winces, and lots of laughs in a fun, safe and respectable environment. This is total strength training...every fitness level welcome from beginner to fully advanced (rock climbers will love this!). Rate reserves a pole for you and your partner for the full class.
 
COUPLES YOGA (90 minutes) - Invite your romantic partner for a terrific alternative date night experience - our Couples' Partner Yoga Workshop. Nourish yourself and your relationship, melt away tension, have FUN, deepen your trust, and simply enjoy being with your partner. Work together and balance each other out in this light hearted, sensual and fun alternative date night. Appropriate for all levels, beginner to advanced.
