What type of women come to classes?

EVERYONE – mothers, daughters, grandmothers!, professionals, college students, and others interested in a fun, sexy workout. Some are interested in just learning some sultry floor moves, pole drapes and spins, others are interested in learning advanced pole acrobatics to challenge themselves in new ways…and most are interested in a tintillating combination.  In any case, be prepared to undergo an amazing metamorphasis and transformation!  Watch your self-confidence and strength grow as you re-discover your power and natural beauty.  Our classes have a supportive and friendly atmosphere where everyone is welcome no matter what your age, shape or size.

What should I wear?

You should wear comfortable workout clothing. For all pole classes, we recommend you wear shorts and a tank top/t-shirt. You can also wear leggings or yoga pants, understanding that bare legs will grip the pole better (required for many spins and other moves).  Footwear for the first class and all warm-up activities will be barefoot, and we will then gradually move into heels (great styles and selection available for purchase in our studio).  There is no nudity.

PLEASE do NOT use lotion or oils on your hands or legs the day of class.  Also, it is best if you NOT wear any rings, bracelets or watches.

What should I bring?

You’ll need some water (we also have water for purchase if you forget).  You may also bring your preferred music, if you wish. We have terrific playlists, but welcome you to bring your own music to move to.  This is YOUR place. We want you to feel very, very comfortable.

How big are the classes?

Pole classes are small so you will receive proper individual attention and sufficient time on the poles.  For bachelorette and other private group parties, there is no class size limit since our spacious dance floor and multiple poles can accommodate large groups.

How fit do I have to be to join the classes or workshops?

Classes are appropriate for all fitness levels, shapes and sizes. More than 95% of students are true beginners, having never touched a pole. Our instructors customize to accommodate individual fitness levels, and we promise that regardless of fitness level, you will get a fun and effective workout!

How do I advance from one level to the next?

Advancement in classes is decided firstly by YOU, and also with the support of your instructor. You may decide to continue to advance in levels, or stay at a level where you feel comfortable. In each level we will continually build strength so you are prepared to do the pole moves in each successive level.

What about practicing?

We encourage practice, but don’t worry if you can only commit to once a week (or even if you just want to come every once in a while).  Options for practicing include:

  • Coming to our studio during open pole time (see schedule)
  • Coming to our studio for a private lesson (as an individual, or form your own group for a reduced rate)
  • Practicing in the comfort of your own home by renting one of our removable poles ($50 per 24 hour period for one of our two piece poles, or $125 for our portable stage with pole)
  • Practicing in the comfort of your own home by purchasing your own removable pole (click here for purchase information)

Do I need to be pre-registered or can I just show up at a class?

You can drop in on all classes EXCEPT Pole Session classes, because we carefully monitor ratios for the number of women per pole.

What is your make-up/cancellation policy?

We understand schedules are busy and unpredictable things happen. You are allowed to make-up for a missed class with at least 48 hours notice prior to class time. We allow one make-up per session, space permitting in other classes.

Because we tightly control class ratios and reserve your spot for pole classes, we are sorry we do not process refunds.

For Private Group Parties, the deposit is non-refundable. You may re-schedule your party for a different time and/or date (availability permitting) at no cost as long as you have given us at least 7 days notice. If you wish to re-schedule your Party for a different time and/or date on shorter notice (less than 7 days), you will be charged a $35 administrative fee.

Do you have childcare?

Yes! We are pleased to offer on-site childcare Tues-Fri from 10:00 to 1:00. Please note your child must be potty-trained. There are also three incredible child-centered businesses WITHIN OUR SAME BUILDING that offer fun, stimulating, challenging classes for children of every age.
